New Delhi: The final year exams for all universities and colleges have been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. While some have already conducted the exams, others are in the process of taking them soon. And, Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), the exams of which are supposed to kickstart from September 17, 2020, is probably going to release the admit cards for the term-end exams on September 8 online.

As per the reports, the said date is so far confirmed and the official informed about the same to a leading portal. This comes in after the release of the date sheet that happened yesterday on the official website at ignou.ac.in. As per the date sheet, the last exam will take place on October 16 while there will be two sessions in a day across the 900 exam centres.

Only those students will be receiving the admit card who has filled out the forms that were due for the June TEE 2020 and the same will be made available via a clickable link on the official website. The link will also ask the students to enter their 9 digit enrolment number and pick the programme they are registered for in order to download the admit cards.

These admit cards are only for the students who will be writing their final year TEE 2020 exams and not the other years. Those admit cards are going to be out ahead of their exams which are due in December 2020. Meanwhile, also those students, who are unable to write the exams that are taking place in September due to the ongoing situation in the country, will be allowed to write the paper in December, which will serve as a second chance for such students.

As it known, these exams were supposed to take place in the first week of this month itself, however, they were delayed after all and are not taking place a little later than expected. The delay in exams was also preceded by the delay in the admit card and date sheet announcements, which was already informed earlier via officials.
