New Delhi: The Coronavirus situation in the country has indeed brought about our lives to a halt. However, with the unlock phases in motion, things are eventually moving forward and getting back to normal. However, reopening schools and other educational institutions continues to be a matter of concern as the interests of students along with their health are a primary concern right now.

In light of the same, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal went on to say that the Delhi government will only reopen schools when it is fully convinced that the situation has improved in the city as far as COVID-19 is concerned. This happened at the Independence Day speech at the deli Secretariat where Kejriwal went on to address the Coronavirus situation in the capital and also added how things have come under control, as compared to the past. In addition, he also thanked everyone who has been a part of making things better in the city.

While addressing the issue of the reopening of school, the CM went on to say how AAP considers the safety and health of the children of utmost importance and how he keeps getting messages regarding schools and how they don’t want it to happen just yet. He went on to give an assurance that they care about the children just as much and do not intend on opening schools until fully convinced.

Meanwhile, he also spoke about other efforts that have been taken by Delhi in the country’s fight against coronavirus, including plasma therapy, home isolation, among others. In addition, he also that this is an attempt to bring the city economy back on track.
