Thiruvananthapuram: The academic year for 2020-21 has been delayed in various universities due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. However, all the universities wish to begin the new academic year soon and in the wake of the same, they have been working around online registrations, etc. And now, as has been reported, students who are looking at admissions to Kerala University can now register until August 25, 5:00 pm.

These are extended dates for registering via the online admission process to the available UG courses in the university. Earlier, however, the last date was August 17, 2020. Students can go to the official website and check out further details for the admission process. The official website is keralauniversity.ac.in.

Apart from two courses i.e. BPEd as well as BFA, the other undergraduate courses are called first-degree programmes and the admission to them is done via an online centralised allotment system and the trail for the same was done back on August 12. The allotment will be on the basis of merit and the aspirants can confirm their seats in an allotted college by making the payment of the fees. Since there have also been changes at the beginning of colleges this year, as well as delay in the results for the class 12 students, the allotment lists are likely to keep changing as and when necessary.

Kerala University, Thiruvananthapuram is among the top 25 Universities in India and there are colleges that are finely placed in the top 100 list across various listicles combined as far as colleges in the country are concerned.
