Mumbai: For a while now, the various entrance exams have been on hold due to the Coronavirus pandemic. While there is little to no improvement as far as the cases in the country are concerned, after multiple delays, the entrance tests are being conducted in the best possible way.

And now, the latest update happens to be from the government of Maharashtra regarding the Common Entrance Test (CET) which is conducted by the Technical Education department for admission to courses like MArch, MCA, MHMCT, BHMCT. The revised schedule has been issued by the government and as per the schedule, the MAH-MArch CET and MHMCT entrance exams will take place on October 3 while the MAH MCA and BHMCT entrance tests are scheduled for October 10.

This is likely to be the final date as the CET for this year has been delayed on multiple occasions. While the necessary precautions and safety measures such as social distancing will be followed, there will be additional details that will be released along with the hall ticket. While the schedule is out, candidates will also be able to download the hall tickets soon.

After having cleared the CET, they will be able to get admission to the course they have applied for after the counselling sessions are conducted. While candidates will get to pick their desired college and course during the session, seats will be given on the basis of choice as well as merit.

On the day of the exam, it will be necessary to carry a valid photo ID proof along with the hall ticket. In case changes need to be made, the candidate must carry document to verify the same.

Meanwhile, students who are currently colleges within the state, the final year exams are being held right now and the university will be conducting online exams. These will be MCQs carrying a total of 50 marks and the time duration for the same will be an hour.
