Imphal: The class 12 results for 2020 have been declared by the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Manipur (COHSEM) today and students can avail it on the official website: cohsem.nic.in. In order to avail their Manipur HSE results, they need to have their admit cards ready and provide the necessary details once on the website.

With over 28,000 having written the exams, their wait for the results has finally come to an end. The Higher secondary examinations for Manipur students started on February 14 and were scheduled to go on until March 23. However, the remaining papers that couldn’t be held were taken on July 6 and 7. Meanwhile, the Coronavirus pandemic situation also leads to a lockdown in the country, and hence, the results have been delayed.

The overall pass percentage for COHSEM students this year is 86% and is indeed the highest percentage recorded over the last 3 years across all streams. Over 29,144 students appeared for the exams this year.

The topper for this year is Archana Hijam, a Science student, who has scored 485 marks for Manipur Class 12exams. With 464 marks, Arts student Khomdram Menaka Devi has secured the second position while Justina Yendrembam from Commerce, who scored 448 marks, holds the third rank.

With an overall pass percentage of 88.93%, the Imphal West is among the top regions followed by Bishnpur district at the second spot with 84.41%. The third spot goes to Imphal West with a pass percentage of 80.88%.

Meanwhile, class 10 results for Manipur students were announced last month and the overall pass percentage was 65.34% with pass percentage for boys being 70.88% while that for girls was 66.75%.
