New Delhi: The entrance exams as well as the admissions across various courses have been a matter of concern and also debate. While there have been regular updates around all universities regarding the same, the latest happen to be about the IGNOU entrance exams for PhD and MBA. The Indira Gandhi National Open University requires candidates to write the entrance exams to admission to the MBA and PhD courses and the said entrance exams are being conducted by the NTA including all related processes i.e. the exams as well as filling the applications, etc.
The exams were postponed by NTA due to the ongoing pandemic, however, as it turns out, the OPENMAT XLVII and PHDA entrance exams will be held and a notification regarding the same has also been released. The exams were supposed to take place in July 2020, however, they were then postponed. And now, the release has mentioned that the exams will be taking place after all in September and October 2020.
As per the latest notice from the National Testing Agency, the OPENMAT exams are going to take place on September 15, 2020, while the PhD entrance exams are scheduled for October 4, 2020. The said notice also holds the dates for the Delhi University Entrance Test, the UGC-NET exams, and many others entrance exams that were due to take place for a while now.
While the official dates have been announced and seem to be rather final, students will be able to download the admit cards about 15 days before the exam date, and that means that the admit card for the OPENMAT exams is likely to be out by next week.
