Bhubaneswar: The class 10 and 12 results across various boards continue to come in as the Coronavirus pandemic caused multiple delays for the same. While exams too, were conducted at various periods, the results have been gradually rolling in. Today, the class 12 commerce results have been announced by the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha (CHSE). Students can easily check their results on the official website at orissaresults.nic.in and need to enter their roll numbers as well as registration numbers.

This year, there were 25,770 students who wrote their comer papers this year and the marks for the same are now out on the official website. Out of those who wrote the paper, 19318 have managed to pass their class 12 commerce exams and the pass percentage for this year has been a decent 74.95%. Out of them, there are over 12,215 boys and 7,103 girls. The pass percentage, though decent, is an improvement from last year.

Meanwhile, Nayagarh district has had the highest pass percentage this year, with a strong 88.7%. While the district also was the top in 2019, the pass percentage was 95.59%.

Those exams that were due to be held between March 23, 2020, to March 28 for the students of class 12 were canceled due to the Coronavirus and they were awarded marks as per the criteria listed down earlier. The exams that were scheduled for March 3 to March 21, were the only ones that were conducted. However, they do have the option to appear for the optional examinations, and those marks will be treated as final.
