NEW DELHI – For the longest time now, candidates have been waiting for an update on various entrance tests. Given the Coronavirus outbreak, everything has been delayed and new updates keep coming in. The most recent updates are from the National Testing Agency as it has announced a fresh set of dates for the UGC NET 2020 exams.

These exams will be taking place on September 24, 25, 29, and 30, October 1, 7, 9, 17, 21, 22, 23, and November 10, 2020. Earlier, these exams were to begin September 16, 2020, onwards and have now been postponed. Meanwhile, candidates can also view the admit cards for the exams that will be held for UGC NET aspirants on September 24 and 25. Candidates can download the admit cards for NTA UGC NET at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

At first, the exams were postponed a the ICAR exams were also due on the same date and they were clashing. However, they were then conducted on September 16-17 and the next will take place on September 22-23. The UGC NET exams will take place in two batches during the day, one in the morning between 9 am to 12 pm and the other in the afternoon from 3 pm to 6 pm.

Meanwhile, the UGCT NET exams are conducted by the National Testing Agency in order to allow candidates to apply for Assistant Professor or Junior Research Fellowship & Assistant Professor across the universities and colleges in the country. These exams generally have two papers and will be conducted in online mode. While one paper is meant for research aptitude, the other paper will be based on the chosen subject will follow an MCQ pattern.
