Hyderabad: It was rather recently that the ministry of human resource development had issued a notice that asked for suggestions from parents regarding the reopening of schools. The notice also called for additional feedback and other suggestions they might have in order to ensure the safety of their children. While the upcoming months are being considered, it turns out that the Andhra Pradesh government is ready to reopen schools from September 5.

While the reports about the restarting of schools in Andhra have been doing the rounds, this is not the final decision as the situation on and around the dates will be taken into consideration when it is supposed to happen. The review meeting was held regarding the decision on education by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

While talking to the media, Education Minister Adimulapu Suresh went on to reveal the probable dates for reopening of schools and how it also depends on the situation prevalent real time ahead. Also, it has been informed that until the school is functioning full time, students will be receiving dry ration in lieu of the mid-day meals.

In addition, the Education Minister has also spoken about introducing pre-primary education in government schools in the academic year to come along with coaching for competitive exams like JEE, EAMCET, IIIT, and a few others. Meanwhile, in order to improve the education standards in Andhra, a Joint Director post will also be established.

In addition, Suresh also went on to reveal how they have been ordered to create the two state-level director range posts in order to ensure proper execution of English Medium in government schools as well as the mid-day meal scheme (Jagananna Gorumudda). In addition, every Mandal is also supposed to set up a government junior college.
