Bengaluru: Postponing exams seem to be the only viable option right now as there is very little to work around something right now. None the less, for the exams that are being held, a lot of safety measures are being taken and social distancing norms are being followed. With the constant increase in numbers for the novel Coronavirus, it is only inevitable to go ahead with the exams at a certain point of time.
COMEDK UGET 2020: And now, as has been announced by the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK), the COMEDK UGET 2020 exams will now be held for the undergraduate students on August 19, 2020. These exams happen during the due course of the day over two shifts with a break of two hours.
The first shift of exams will be conducted between 9 to 12 in the morning while the second shift of exams will be from 2 to 5 pm. As notice, the exam duration is of three hours and the 2-hour gap in between will enable the centres to go ahead with the necessary processes.
A statement of COMDEKâs official website, the candidates were also informed about the helplines being shut due to the coronavirus pandemic. However, it did state the emails will be responded to for all queries and students can mail on studenthelpdesk@comedk.org.
This is the second time that the schedule has been moved in light of the Coronavirus. Originally, the COMEDK UGET 2020 were due to be held on July 25th and was later moved to August 1. However, a new date has now been announced and they will now happen on August 19, as stated.
