Delhi: The final year exams for Delhi University students were conducted a while back and now, the results for the same, are awaited. As has been directed by the Delhi High Court, the results need to be declared by October 2020 and it has asked the varsity to expedite the same. The results will be available on the official website at du.ac.in and those who wrote the exams in phase 1 can check their results once declared.
A letter has been issued by the HC to all the affiliated college principals concerning the DU results and the need for expediting the process. Meanwhile, the notice has also issued a circular regarding the last date for applying a comfort letter by PG and UG students, who are planning to study abroad is September 18, 2020. Meanwhile, the results for those in PG courses and plan to study overseas or will be traveling should be announced by September 28, 2020.
Hearing the cases was a bench of Justices Hima Kohli and Subramonium Prasad and they ruled out the aforementioned details. Meanwhile, PG students seeking to study abroad will receive their results via the website on the same day along with the digital signatures from the officials on the letterhead of the university. Meanwhile, the results will also be available for download online.
Meanwhile, as has been assured by the officials from DU, the varsity will send the provisional results to the concerned foreign universities before the cut-off dates and this will be done on a priority basis.
The next hearing regarding the matter will take place on September 23, 2020, and the date will have the varsity provide a final date for the final year results for UG students.
