Indore: Time and again, additional reports regarding the various entrance exams, results, etc, keep pouring in. Given that everything is online right now, it is indeed important to keep a tab on the news related to the concerned exams/tests. And today, the announcement regarding the Common Admission Test (CAT 2020) has been announced.

While CAT 2020 will take place on November 29, 2020, the registrations will be taking place between August 5 to September 16, 2020. Last year, the CAT exams were held on November 24. Meanwhile, this year, the Indian Institute of Indore will be conducting the CAT 2020 exams in lieu of its rotational based exams.

CAT 2020 is going to take place across 156 cities and the aspirants have the freedom to choose 4 cities in order of their preference. Once they clear the exams, they will be eligible to take admissions to various management courses that include the likes of PGP, PGDM, EPGP, etc at the IIMs as well as the business schools within the country.

Apart from clearing these exams as an admission criterion, another criterion for admission also suggests that the aspirants must have scored at least 50% marks in their Bachelor’s degree (or its equivalent). Meanwhile, those belonging to the SC, ST, or Persons with Disability (PwD) will have to have a minimum of 45%.

As for the admission fees for both the categories is concerned, it is Rs 2000 for those belonging to the general category and Rs 1000 for those falling in the others. Apart from availing admissions to the various PGP programs at IIMs across the country, it also enables students to get into institutes like JNU, among other B-schools for the various programs as have been stated above.
