Goa: Board results continue to pour in as the exam season was interrupted due to the coronavirus pandemic. While most of the boards have declared the results for the class 10 and 12 students, the class 10 results for the SSC students have been announced by the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) today.

The students just need to have their seat numbers while checking their results on the official website of the board at gbshse.gov.in. The exams for class 10 students took place from May 21 to June 6 this year. However, they were originally scheduled for April this year, however, they had to be postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Almost 19,000 students who the paper this year and out of them, the ration of girls is to boys was almost 50-50. Meanwhile, the pass percentage for this year has been recorded at 92.69%, which is as good as last year’s pass percentage of 92.47%. Meanwhile, girls have managed to do slightly better than the boys as far as the overall pass percentages are concerned. While the girls are at 92.64%, the boys have managed a decent 92.31%.

Meanwhile, the class 12 results were declared by GBSHSE on June 26 and the pass percentage was stood at 89.27%. Of the 17,000 students that wrote the exams, over 15,000 students made it to the cut.

The merit list for most of the board results are not being issued by the states due to the testing times we are in, however, the news about who made it to the top, the districts that have done well, will also be out in due time.
