Dharamshala: Multiple exams and results have been postponed due to the ongoing COVID 19 pandemic and while a lot has been happening, the interest of students is being put on priority in whatever decision is being taken regarding the upcoming exams, academic year, and more.

In a notice issued by the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE), the board has made an announcement regarding the postponing of the HP TET 2020 exams. These exams were supposed to kickstart on July 26 i.e. tomorrow, however, as it turns out, they cannot be held anymore it seems. The admit cards for these exams were already issued on July 22 and the exams were supposed to conclude on August 9.

While the board has postponed the exams, the new dates are yet to be announced and students will have to wait around for that. HPBOSE conducts these exams twice per year, however, this time, it seems to be a rather tough call. Based on this entrance exams, candidates will be able to apply for various posts including TGT (Arts), TGT (Medical), TGT (Non-Medical), Shashtri, Language Teacher, Junior Basic Training, Punjabi Language Teacher and Urdu Language Teacher.

The HP TET 2020 was due to be conducted across 91 centres, all in offline mode. While the first stage of the HP TET is to write the exams, the ones who qualify this exam will, later on, have to verify their documents and eventually, acquire a position for which they applied.
