New Delhi: The Coronavirus pandemic has caused multiple delays as far as the exams and admission processes are concerned. And now, the JEE Advanced 2020 exam dates have been postponed. The original date for these exams was earlier September 23, 2020, but they will now take place on September 27, 2020, instead. These exams will be computer-based and will take place in two sessions – morning for B.Tech and afternoon for B.Arch. The exams will be conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology, IIT Delhi.

This is a consequence of the delay in the JEE Main 2020 results, which are likely to be out by September 11, 2020.

Students must keep a track of updates on the website at jeeadv.ac.in. Meanwhile, the seat allocation is likely to be done by November 9, 2020. However, how will the classes be conducted, is something that is yet to be declared.

Those who qualify their JEE Main 2020 exams will be allowed to write these exams and in fact, the criteria for qualification has been changed and students have been provided a relaxation as far as the minimum qualifying marks for 12th exams are concerned and they are required to just have passed them.
