Mumbai: The board results for various states have been due over the last couple of weeks and as they continue to roll in, students are heaving a sigh of relief. And well, the results for SSC students were released by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education. The results were supposed to be out on July 31, as per some reports, however, it was last night that this news came in.

With over 15 lakh students who have written their exams this year, it sure happened on a huge scale and has all of them on the edge about it. Students can check their results on the official website at mahresult.nic. Meanwhile, the pass percentage for this year is a strong 95.30% with strong scores for a lot of students.

The pass percentage for girls this year is 96.99% while that for the boys is 93.90%. In most of the states, the girls have been ahead of boys and much like so, here too. In addition, the pass percentage for the specially-abled is also a strong 92.73% this year. As per the reports, the 90% above students are more than 1000 in number, and in fact, the pass percentage has witnessed a huge rise of 18.20% this year.

Meanwhile, among other updates, over 8000 schools have managed to have a pass percentage of 100% while as many as 20 subjects have 100% result for SSC results this year. With a pass percentage of 98.77%, the Konkan region is the district with the highest results followed by Pune at 97.34% and Nagpur at 93.84% at the second and third spots while Aurangabad is the lowest with 92% pass percentage.

While the results are out, the website will be displaying the results at 1 pm as has been tweeted by the education minister Varsha Gaikwad.
