Chennai: The board exam results for various states continue to come in as the Coronavirus outbreak caused a major delay. While it is now time to kickstart new academic years already, students continue to await results. Over 9 lakh students appeared for their class 10 results conducted by Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examination, TN DGE. And now, the results for TN SSLC 2020 have been announced and students can check it at tnresults.nic.in.

Students just need to enter their roll numbers and mention the date of birth in order to check the TN class 10 results 2020. The exams for class 10 students were canceled amid the crisis situation as they were due to be held between March 27 to April 13. Since students did not write the exam, they have now been marked on the basis of assessment submissions and attendance.

The DGE has decided to promote all students this year, thereby making the pass percentage for class 10 students 100%. Amongst the 9 lakh plus students who passed this year, the ratio of girls and boys is almost 50-50 and while the students have all passed, they do have the provision of opting for revaluations in case of any discrepancies felt. The forms for the same can be submitted between August 17 to 25.

Meanwhile, the pass percentage last year was 97% for girls while it was 93.3% for boys, and given the 100% pass percentage this year, it is only fair that maximum students have been rightly promoted.
