NEW DELHI: Many entrance exams have been delayed due to the ongoing Coronavirus situation. However, while most of the national level exams continue getting postponed as the situation in the country doesn’t seem to be getting stable, it looks like Amity University has decided to take a rather strong stance for the Amity JEE 2020 exams.

Yes, while the exam dates were released and the information regarding the same was out rather recently, it looks like they have been canceled, after all, all of this, keeping in mind the ongoing Coronavirus situation in the country. Given the decision to cancel the exams has come through, it also means that there will now be a new modified process in order to shortlist candidates after all.

As per the recent modifications that have been made to the selection process, candidates will now have to send in video responses to the questions that have been posted on the official website at amity.edu. All students have to do is head to the video link that is visible on Admission Microsite Candidates and over there, submits their responses by logging in via Admission Microsite Login where they will need to add their application form number and the password.

While the process for the earlier selection scheme was rather difficult, this is going to be based on just those video responses. Earlier, however, there used to be an English language test followed by the other rounds of GD/Extempore and personal interviews.

However, amid the ongoing crisis, this decision sure comes in handy and might also be seen as a welcome move by students and parents.

Meanwhile, the Amity JEE 2020 applications form for the campuses in Mumbai, Gwalior, Gurgaon, Lucknow, Jaipur, and Raipur are available till August 14. However, the last date of submission for the forms is August 15 for the Noida campus.
