New Delhi: The term-end exams for students across colleges this year have been quite the chaos because of the COVID-19 situation in the country. While the final year exams continue to be in question given the UGC guidelines and how some states are opposing the decision. However, the results for students in any semester apart from their final one, continue to keep coming in.

And now, the results for intermediate semesters i.e. 2nd and 4th semesters for the 2019-2020 academic year have been declared by the Delhi University. Those who are looking to check their results can simply login on the official website of the university: du.ac.in.

Now, given the fact that the exams were not conducted by the university this year, the results are simply according to what has been informed by the UGC under its examinations and admissions guidelines for the year 2020. The students have been awarded marks on the basis of how they have performed in their internal exams within the college as well as their past examinations.

Now, while the results have been declared according to the rules laid out amid the ongoing crisis, the students in their intermediate semesters right now, do have the option to write the papers later, when a current lot of students write their exams in May-June 2021. However, if there is a subject that they wish to keep the marks intact, they do not have to fill the form for that particular subject.

Meanwhile, the exams for the final year students in Delhi University are going to be conducted anyway as they have decided to follow UGC’s guidelines. While the mock tests have taken place, and are going to happen in another phase as well, the OBE will kickstart from August 10, 2020. On the other hand, those who were due to write the exams for the ER subjects will now be appearing for them in the next semester, however, they have been promoted for now.
