Bhiwani: The results for the Haryana Board of Secondary Education (HBSE) were declared on July 10, 2020. Following the result declaration, the official Twitter account of the CMO of Haryana has now announced that the students of the 10th standard can now get their admission to the 11th standard via WhatsApp. Those who are going to continue with the State Board for their 11th standard can move ahead with the admission process by sending across the required documents to the school principals on WhatsApp.

Given the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, the entire process of examinations and admissions has witnessed a 360-degree turn. Hence, in light of the current situation, the decision regarding the admission to 11th standard has come as a relief to the parents as well as the students. Meanwhile, the students are not required to pay any fees right now and simply confirm their admission.

The Education Minister of Haryana, Kanwar Pal also took to Twitter as he wrote that the HBSE 11th Class Admission will be carried out via Whatsapp by sending the required documents to the school principal.

Meanwhile, the results were announced late this year due to the ongoing scenario in the country and across the world. Given that the exams got postponed due to the COVID-19 situation, everything witnessed a delay. However, this is a great effort by the government in order to enable a seamless admission process and let the students heave a sigh of relief. This is definitely a welcome move.

Meanwhile, the pass percentage for 2020 has also witnessed an improvement. While it is 64.59% this year, it was 57.39% last year. The topper of HBSE for 2020 is Rishita, who belongs to Hisar and scored 500 marks.
