New Delhi: The Coronavirus pandemic has vastly affected the exams and admission processes given that March onwards is a peak time for all those things. While there are exams that were postponed and the criterion for some were changed, there is very little that one can do about the new admissions and as well as the beginning of an academic year for 2020-21.

None the less, the universities have been ensuring that they provide as many lee ways as they can so that the students have the flexibility to work their ways around. Given that many have their own issues and with the results coming in till date, Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has now announced that the admission date, as well as the re-registrations for the upcoming sessions (July 2020), have now been extended and they can apply until August 16, 2020.

Meanwhile, the Term End Exams (TEE 2020) for final year students have been laid out by IGNOU and given the guidelines that are already in place, they will be conducting them in September 2020. Meanwhile, those students who can’t give all the exams then, also have the provision to write the papers during the December 2020 schedule.

The TEE 2020 exams continue to happen as was scheduled in the first place, with a few delays of course. In addition, the rules and regulations for how the process will look like, among other things, continue to remain the same with as many possible provisions that there can be for someone. In fact, the SED also went on to extend the dates for submitting assignments, etc amid the ongoing pandemic, and the notice regarding the same was issued a couple of days ago.

In order to be updated with the latest changes and announcements from IGNOU, students must ensure that they keep a check on the website’s announcement section.
