New Delhi: The Class 12 results for Kerala students have been announced by the Department of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE). The students who appeared in the said examination can now check their Kerala Plus 2 Result 2020 on the official website: www.keralaresults.nic.in. Over 4 lakh students have appeared for the class 12 exams in the state of Kerala and await their results for the 2020 Kerala DHSE exams. The process to check the exams is as simple as entering basic details – roll number and date of birth.

Kerala state education minister C Raveendranath has announced the results and students can now access it on the website and a few other alternative methods, including mobile apps and other websites.

While the Class 12 exams for Kerala were held in March, the remaining papers took place from May 27-30 due to the delay because of the coronavirus pandemic.

The pass percentage for this year for the Kerala plus 2 exams 2020 has witnessed a slight increase as opposed to the pass percentage for last year, which was 84.33% but is 85.13% this year. As far as the stream wise break up of pass percentages is concerned, Arts students are ahead with 98.75% followed by Technical students, Science students at 88.62%, Commerce students at 84.52% Humanities students at 77.76%.

On the region wise pass percentage front, Ernakulam is at the top with an overall pass percentage of 82.02% while Kasargode district recorded the lowest at 76.68%. A total of 3,75,655 students appeared for the Class 12 Kerala exams this year, of which 3,19,782 have passed.

Over 114 schools have managed to secure a 100% pass percentage while over 18,000 students have scored A+ this year, both have witnessed a significant increase in numbers. In addition, over 234 students have scored full marks in their plus 2 results this year. The pass percentage for girls this year is 92.29% while that of boys is 77.22% this year.

In fact, reports have it that the papers for PCM were double-checked before the marks were added up. Meanwhile, the Kerala Plus one results will also be announced this month as the evaluations for their papers is currently going on.
