Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan aka KVS has kickstarted the admission process form today and well, while it is a seamless process, it sure does have parents at the edge if they really want them to be a part of the institution. Parents can check for details on the official websites: kvsangathan.nic.in.
As the admission process has begun today, parents and students can apply for the various classes from 1 and above. Meanwhile, the admissions for class 1 for this year will go on until August 7th, 2020, while the registration for classes 2 and above will only go on until July 25, 2020. Further details can be checked on the notice. However, it is obviously subjected to the vacancies.
Meanwhile, the provisional list and waitlist are going to be out on August 11, 2020, and if there are spots available, KVS will also be releasing a second list on August 24, 2020. As far as the list for Class 2 and above is concerned, it will be available on July 29, 2020, while the admission process will take place between July 30 to August 7.
The process of registration is rather simple and once on the admission link, parents/students are advised to read the guidelines before they move on to the application link for filling up the forms. Once that is done, they can submit the form and also download/screenshot a copy of the same for themselves.
Before starting the process of filling the forms, the parents/students must ensure they have all the necessary documents needed –
- A scanned/digital photograph of the student in JPEG format less than 256KB in size.
- Scanned copy of the student’s birth certificate in JPEG or PDF formats less than 256KB in size.
- If applying under economically weak sections, they must have the details from the government certificate
- Depending on whoever’s service credentials are used, their transfer details must be available
