Mumbai: The Coronavirus pandemic has definitely put a full stop to the various walks of life. While there is very little that can be done to keep things afloat as if it were all normal, everyone has been making attempts to make things easy. Meanwhile, the results for class 10 and 12 students continue to occupy the headline, and today, it is the class 10 results that have been announced by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.

Maharashtra SSC results 2020 have been released earlier in the morning today and students can check them on the board’s official website i.e. mahresult.nic.in. All that the students need is to enter the roll numbers and their mother’s name in order to check their results. The exams were conducted from March 3 to March 21 this year, however, the last exam dated March 23, could not be conducted.

The pass percentage for SSC results 2020 is a strong 95.30% and as it turns out, this is the highest ever recorded since the last 10 years. The pass percentage for boys this year is 93.90% while that for girls is 96.99%, thereby keeping girls ahead yet again. Meanwhile, the pass percentage for the specially abled students this year is 92.73% and over 1000 students have managed to score 90% in their SSC results this year.

While the pass percentage has increased by over 18.20% this year, over 8360 schools have recorded a pass percentage of 100% while 20 out of 60 subjects have witnessed a 100% pass result this year. This year, Aurangabad has recorded the lowest pass percentage with 92% while the Konkan region has the highest pass percentage of 98.77%.

Over 15 lakh students appeared for the exams this year and out of them, over 5.3 lakh students have managed to pass in the first division while another 5.5. lakh have got into the second division.
