Agartala: Class 10 and 12 results continue to pour in even today and while the month comes to an end, it seems to be one about results, exam announcements, and so and so forth. Given the Coronavirus pandemic, it was quite the year for everyone, and students too, have had to manage their lives at various levels. And today, the class 12 results have been announced by the Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE). Students can check their results on the official website: www.tripura.nic.in, www.tripuraresults.nic.in 2020.

Meanwhile, the pass percentage of this year across the streams is rather decent with Science having the highest at 89.85% followed by Arts and Commerce pass percentages at 79.52% and 78.56% respectively. With the TBSE results now out, students can heave a sigh of relief and they can avail it with their roll numbers on the website. The overall pass percentage for the TBSE class 12 students this year is an 80.80%.

Meanwhile, the papers for which students could not write the exam, the marks have been allotted on the basis of highest grades bagged by the students in the other subjects, as has been told by TBSE President. The pending exams were to happen in June 2020, however, they were eventually cancelled given the scenario. The exams for over 10 subjects, including the likes of Sanskrit, Economics, Arabic, Geography couldn’t be taken by the board.

Meanwhile, schools and colleges will remain shut until August 31, as has been announced, however, a decision will be taken by September 5, 2020.
