Ramnagar: As state board results continue to come in, the announcements are flooding the internet. And today, the Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE) has announced the results for both class 10 as well as class 12 students and students can check them on the official website at ubse.uk.gov.in result 2020/ uaresults.nic.in. All that they need is to have their roll numbers handy and that should do the job.

Over 1.4 lakh students wrote the class 10 UBSE exams while over 1.35 lakh students appeared for the class 12 exams this year. Talking about class 10 results, the pass percentage for UBSE students is an average of 76.91%. Topping the class 10 results for UBSE with a 98.20% is Gaurav Saklani from New Tehri.

The pass percentage for class 12 students this year is 80.26% with Beauty Vatsal topping the exams with 96.60%, followed by Yugal Joshi at the second spot with 95.40% and finally, Rahul Yadav at the third spot with 95%. Meanwhile, the district wise pass percentages are interesting too with Bageshwar at 90% and Rudraprayag at 89.55% while the city of Dehradun has a pass percentage of 72.12%. With a pass percentage of 83.63%, the girls are ahead of boys, who have a pass percentage of 76.68%.

The exams for the board students that were due between March 23 to 25 had to be postponed due to the pandemic and were then conducted in June 2020. Meanwhile, this also caused a delay in the results and hence, instead of the regular May month, most results have been pushed to June-July.
