Thiruvananthapuram: The admission process for various universities have begun to kick in as the board results have been declared for most of the states. While some await their results, there are provisions and a flexible timeline available for students in order to ensure their admission to undergraduate courses in various universities.
And now, the University of Kerala has kickstarted the registration process for UG programs across all the self-financing/government/aided colleges/centers in the University (UIT’s). The process started off on July 21, 2020, and is supposed to go on until August 17, 2020.
During the due course of this period, a trial allotment will be conducted on August 12. Meanwhile, the first allotment will happen on august 18 while the second one is going to happen on august 24, 2020. The announcement for the beginning of a new academic year, however, will be announced at a later time depending upon the pandemic situation across the country.
The process of application is rather easy. Once on the official website (admissions.keralauniversity.ac.in), go to the UG section and then select the ‘Apply online’ option in order to proceed further.
Once through the registration process, the students have to login along with the username and password as has been registered in the previous process and fill out all the details on the admission form. These are basic details required including the likes of personal information, qualification, etc. They will also have to add the digital/scanned images of their photographs as well as signatures.
It is advised to cross check all the necessary information on the application form so as to avoid any mistakes. Once filled and double checked, submit the form by clicking on the button that reads ‘submit.’
