New Delhi: The results of various exams have witnessed multiple delays and one of the most awaited results that there have been is that of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). And now, the results have been announced on the official website (https://www.upsc.gov.in) and the aspirants can now access it.

In order to avail the result, the candidates have to first go to the website, find the link on the homepage that mentions the ‘final results of Civil Services Examination 2019’ and from the results displayed on the screen, look up their name and check their marks. As has been noticed, a total of 829 candidates have managed to make it to the cut and have received their appointment letters. The said list is provisional and is available for download.

Topping the UPSC civil services examination this year is Pradeep Singh followed by Jatin Kishore and Pratibha Verma and the second and third spots respectively. The exams were based on the two-step process, the first of which was a preliminary type exam, which would enable the students to write the Civil Services (Main) examinations. While the main exams are the second stage, they include both, written as well as in-person interviews in order to be selected across various posts available.

Meanwhile, the results for 2018 Civil Services exams were declared on April 5, 2019 and the topper managed to score a decent 55.3% marks. Meanwhile, the results were delayed this year, unlike every year due to the COVID-19 situation prevalent in the country around April.
