New Delhi: The Coronavirus pandemic has delayed the academic year for new sessions this year. While online classes have been going on for various courses and classes, the new academic session has been on hold for a while due to the delay in results.

And now, reports have it that XLRI – Xavier School of Management, Jamshedpur as well as the Delhi-NCR campus, XLRI I will both kickstart the new academic year from next month. The idea behind the expansion of the XLRI campus to New Delhi is to promote leadership skills, inspire the professionals to take the jump and create a sustainable future.

XLRI is an institutional brand that is overseen by a board of Governors, of which, both the campuses of Jamshedpur and Delhi are an entity. An ideal process for admissions to XAT includes will bring together students from both the campuses and will also have a common curriculum along with other facilities. In fact, they will also have a join placement process as far as internships and final jobs are concerned. 

 Talking about the new campus, the Director at the Xavier School of Management, Jamshedpur went on to reveal how the family has gotten extended and that the Delhi-NCR campus is integral to them, unlike many other standalone institutes. With the help of the satellite campuses along with the community, they will all have the same privileges as well as opportunities and it would be a symbiotic culture following a synergized relationship. He added how though they are away in terms of distance, they satellite campuses will be one entity after all and strive to achieve the greater common good for the society at large.

The Delhi-NCR Campus director, Fr. George Sebastian, S.J, also spoke about the management education and the training that will be provided for the students along with the same placement offers. He also spoke about having faith in the campus faculty and members to practice the same XL culture and values while also ensuring access to a variety of facilities, thereby providing common resources to students at both the campuses.
